Terms of Use
Last updated:
1. Who operates this Site
The Site is operated by Michael Cacioli, an individual doing business as “Auravio,” located in Ohio, United States (“Auravio,” “we,” “us”). Auravio is a trade name and not a separate legal entity.
Contact: support@auravio.org
2. What this Site is
The Site is informational. It describes a system under development and provides a demonstration of that system’s output.
The demonstration at app.auravio.org/demo runs pre-selected, synthetic scenarios. It does not depict a real patient encounter, and no real patient information appears in it. It accepts no input from you, stores nothing about your visit beyond what is described in the Privacy Policy, and produces no output specific to you.
The Auravio product itself is not publicly available. Access requires a separate written agreement. These Terms do not grant access to it, do not constitute an offer to provide it, and do not create any right to use it.
3. No clinical use; no medical advice
Nothing on this Site is medical advice, and nothing on this Site may be relied upon in the care of any patient.
You may not use the Site, the demonstration, or any content from either in connection with an actual patient encounter, clinical decision, or communication with a patient. The demonstration exists to show how the system behaves. It is not a tool for interpretation and must not be used as one.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Use the Site in connection with the care of any patient, as described in Section 3
Submit protected health information or any other sensitive personal data to the Site, to any contact form on it, or to any email address associated with it
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its underlying systems, or any account or data not your own
Probe, scan, or test the security of the Site, or interfere with its operation, except under a written authorization from us
Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content from the Site by automated means
Misrepresent the Site’s capabilities, evaluation status, or regulatory status to any third party
Use the Site in violation of any applicable law
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it to support@auravio.org rather than exploiting it. We will not pursue legal action against anyone who investigates and reports a vulnerability in good faith, without accessing or exfiltrating data belonging to others, and who gives us a reasonable opportunity to remediate before disclosing publicly.
5. Intellectual property
The Site and its contents — text, design, graphics, and software — are owned by Auravio or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may view, quote, and link to the Site for ordinary informational purposes, including journalism, academic work, and evaluation. You may not reproduce it substantially, use it commercially, or present it as your own without written permission.
“Auravio” is our trade name. Other marks appearing on the Site belong to their respective owners.
6. Forward-looking statements
The Site describes capabilities at varying stages of development. Statements about planned functionality, future evaluation, certification, deployment, or availability describe intent, not commitments, and may change. Where the Site distinguishes between what exists today and what is planned, that distinction is deliberate and should be read as written.
7. Third-party services
The Site is built and hosted on Framer and uses Cloudflare for DNS. These providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices. The Site may link to third-party pages that we do not control and are not responsible for.
8. Disclaimer
THE SITE AND THE DEMONSTRATION ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Site will be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that its content is complete or current. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; in those jurisdictions, the exclusions above apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AURAVIO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in those jurisdictions, the limitations above apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The current version will always be posted here with the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be noted. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Geauga County, Ohio, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
12. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
