Privacy policy

Last updated: April 24, 2026

This policy applies to auravio.org, the Auravio marketing website. The Auravio clinical product at app.auravio.org handles patient-derived data under separate technical and contractual arrangements with deploying healthcare organizations. For details on the clinical product's data handling, see the Security overview.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to operate this website and respond to your inquiries. The types of data we collect include:

a. Information You Provide

  • Demo Request Information: Name, email address, organization, role, and any message content you provide when requesting a demo or contacting us.

  • Communications: When you email us or otherwise reach out, we may retain your message content and contact details.

b. Information We Automatically Collect

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent on the site, referring URLs, and other basic analytics.

  • Device Information: Browser type, IP address, operating system, and approximate location (typically country or region).

  • Cookies and Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. These tools collect aggregated, non-personalized data.

c. Information From Third Parties

We do not currently receive information about you from third parties beyond what's automatically collected by our hosting and analytics providers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Respond to demo requests and inquiries

  • Improve the performance and reliability of this website

  • Analyze usage trends to inform product and content decisions

  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We may share information only in these limited cases:

  • Service Providers: With trusted vendors who help us operate this site (currently Vercel for hosting, Cloudflare for DNS and CDN). These providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we authorize.

  • Legal Compliance: When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be part of the transaction.

  • Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share your information.

4. Data Retention

We retain demo request information for as long as needed to respond and follow up — typically up to 24 months from the last interaction, after which it is deleted.

We retain analytics data for the periods set by our analytics providers (typically 30 days to 12 months for our current configuration).

You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us at the address below.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption for all transmitted data and access controls on our systems.

No online system is completely secure. You share information through this site at your own risk.

For information about how patient-derived data is protected within the Auravio clinical product (a different system from this marketing website), see the Security overview.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access and obtain a copy of your data

  • Request correction or deletion of your personal information

  • Object to or restrict processing of your data

  • Withdraw consent for any processing based on consent

To exercise these rights, contact us at [your email]. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Basic site functionality

  • Analytics about how the site is used

We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may be affected.

This site does not currently respond to Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals or Do-Not-Track browser settings, as these collection categories don't apply to advertising or sale of personal information — neither of which we engage in.

8. Third-Party Services

This website is hosted on Vercel and uses Cloudflare for DNS and CDN. Both providers have their own privacy practices. We do not link to or embed services from advertisers, social platforms, or third-party content networks on this marketing website.

The Auravio clinical product (a separate system) uses third-party AI service providers, including Anthropic and OpenAI. Patient data flows in that system are governed by separate agreements with deploying healthcare organizations.

9. Children's Privacy

This website is intended for healthcare professionals and is not directed at children under 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we learn that we have, we will promptly delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

If you access this site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where our servers and service providers are located.

We take reasonable steps to ensure transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The latest version will always be available on this page with the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted.
